Walking for my Daddy

Many of you who read this blog know that my Father, Lamb Cole passed away in July of 2008 due to Heart Disease. Two weeks ago I had the privilege of participating in the American Heart Walk here in Atlanta. It was a great way for me to honor my dad as well as raise money for a great cause.  Because it was my first time walking, I set my goal really low, but thanks to family and friends I almost doubled my goal!!! So Shavis, Mom, Adrienne, Aunt Shirley, Shanta, Joshua, Dawn, Latonya, Kim, Denise and Anne thank you so much for your support and helping me reach my goal.  A special shout out to Celeste who not only donated, but walked with me.  We had a ball!

We've fallen in love....AGAIN!

Yep! God has blessed our household with another baby girl and we couldn't be happier.  The lovebug is being a great big sis and helping out every chance she gets.  Here is a picture of daddy pops and his girls (and no, I did not tell them to pose like this...they just did :) ). More pics coming soon...I promise!

Today was the Lovebugs first day of dance class!!  As I looked in all the eyes of the eager little girls in the class, a famous quote kept replaying over and over in my head...

watch out beyonce

over the last month or so, livi has really developed her love of singing.  "twinkle, twinkle little star", "row, row, row your boat", "bear over the mountain" and her all time favorite..."abc's". we were able to catch her lovely rendition on video early one morning.

so....que the curly afro, pj's, comfy bed and dad in the background trying to record everything on his phone.
